Presentation of the blog

In October 2008 was published the first text of the blog Veni Creator Spiritus. He was thought like a space to share with people the experience of four Catholic seminarians from Our Lady of Assumption Seminary in Maceio, Northeast Brazil. Each one took as a pseudonym and as patron one of Holy Doctors of the Christian East: Luciano as St. Basil the Great, José dos Anjos as Gregory Nazianzen, Bruno as St. Athanasius and me, Henrique, as St. John Chrysostom. Then, in May 2009, another seminarian, Deyvid, joined us, taking the patronage of St. Gregory of Nyssa. In that same year, 2009, my companions decided to leave the blog, each one for their own reasons. However, I decided to continue this work, hoping that my experiences and readings will help some people to get closer to God and see the reality better from perspective of Christian spirituality.
Now, I decided to expand the purview of the blog for the English readers. I will try to translate into English the texts published originally in Portuguese, or if they are already in English, publish them from reliable sources.
May the Lord bless this new venture and that more people can be reached by the Gospel of Salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ for His glory and the Holy Mother Church.
